Nordic and West look towards the future
In February we announced that West intended to acquire a significant stake in Nordic Marine Insurance (Nordic). We are now pleased to confirm that West has received the necessary authorisation and has completed this transaction acquiring Alandia Försäkring Abp’s shares.
Nordic will complement West’s own core services and significantly enhance the range of specialist products West can offer to the Members as well as strengthening its presence in Scandinavia.
"To Nordic this will increase the visibility and growth in all areas, but especially in South East Asia, the Middle East, and Europe."
West’s network and infrastructure, including its six regional offices and global partners, will provide Nordic with a major springboard for growth.
Nordic have undergone a brand refresh, which reflects the modern vision for the future in partnership with West. The new contemporary look and feel has been implemented across the business.
